Accessories can be the difference between a great outfit and a poor one. The right accessories can make an ordinary outfit look impressive, while badly chosen accessories can ruin the look of an otherwise terrific ensemble. There are a few factors that you should keep in mind when selecting accessories; if you do so, your outfits will always be in style, and you will be admired for your good taste in fashion.
The plus size girls of today have finally made it clear that they a) will not purchase ensembles that do not flatter them, plus b) they control a very large part of the consumer buying power, and c) that plus size girls prefer to (and do) look BEAUTIFUL! Gone are the days of the ugly tent-like ensembles! Many designers now realize this, and are adding pieces that are flattering for the woman of size.
A plus size girl doesn't go well with a little purse. This is because such a small purse will make the person carrying it appear to be even larger. One should consider this fact because purses can either make your look a winner or can detract from it completely. This said, you don't need something the size of a beach bag either. Somewhere in the middle is best. The purse should either a neutral tone for daily wear, or maybe a little bit fancier for going out at night. No matter what, you should feel comfortable with your purse and make sure it fits your style. Having different purses for different outfits is fine, it's the size of it that can be problematic.
Plus sized girls are not flattered by small, dainty jewelry, which just enhances your size. Pearls are classic regardless of the occasion, but modernize them by choosing a long strand and making a knot at the end. This which gives it some substance without detracting from the simple beauty. Bangle bracelets and solid charms are very enhancing for larger figures. One doesn't need to to completely avoid tiny jewelry, just pair it with something stronger to balance your look and keep it proportional.
Plus girls can look great by pairing up cute shoes with their outfits. Even if your foot is wide, you can still carry off some great looks. The espadrille is a classic that looks great on pretty much anyone and it is fun and flirty to boot. Heels don't have to be avoided by plus size women. If you aren't crazy about walking around in three inch heels all day, you can always go for a shorter heel. If the style is right, the look will be too. One word of caution, though, cheap shoes often look like cheap shoes. If you want to carry off your look, then suck it up and pay the little extra for good shoes.
