Part-2 When choosing a diet plan, pick a diet that allows you to eat foods from every food group no matter what age you are. Balance is important in all aspects of life, includes the foods that you eat! Eating Low G.I. Carbohydrates, plenty of vegetables and fruit, good source of protein,( lean red meat, poultry ,fish and etc.) in moderation and consistent regular exercise, you will certainly lose weight. Cutting out entire food groups from your daily diet is not the healthiest way to go! One thing important for my diet is to eat a diet that is built around plenty of fruits and vegetables, as well as whole grains, fish, and poultry, lean red meat and water! It is essential and to drink plenty of water each day is a must if you want to stay healthy!
Your body needs protein to function because it is the building block of your muscle. Your muscles are broken down during a strength training or weightlifting working out. Remember that high quantities of protein is needed to rebuild and repair your muscles.
The diet high on protein foods are based on foods rich in protein and are beneficial in losing weight. Foods high in protein are very low in carbohydrates and saturated fat (the animal fat that you DON'T want to eat).By eating high protein foods in moderation you would end up eating low carbohydrate foods and low saturated fat foods.
Eating low G.I. carbohydrates, plenty of vegetables & fruits, high protein food in moderation and no saturated fat and plenty of water as well as consistent regular exercise is very important guidelines to follow if you want to loss weight and loss fat and keep it off. Some sources of unsaturated fat (good fats) are flaxseed oil, extra virgin olive oil, sunflower oil, walnuts, all-natural peanut butter, cold water fish and avocados. A bit of saturated fat is okay, just don't go overboard.
Eating the required quantity of high protein foods can be difficult due to the amount of meat to consume everyday. However there is a protein supplements. Protein shakes (powder mixed with any fluid you want) and bars are the solution. Drinking your average shake with 2 scoops of protein powder give you 30+ grams of protein, and only takes a minute to make and drink.
The average bars have 30 grams each, and are the size of an average candy bar. The best time to consume high protein, are : as soon as you wake up in the morning, last thing prior to going to bed at night, and just after your workout. Remember though that the main point of eating a high protein diet is to supply your body with all of the protein that it needs . To fufil these needs it is recommended that a person eats a small meal once every 3 hours.
