At present,wind turbines are the best alternative energy source available to us.They are capable of generating most of our power needs and are non polluting.In some parts of the world they are being used as the primary power source.Individually we can easily produce all the power we need from the wind.

Even a light breeze will spin the turbine. Power can be stored in storage batteries till needed for use. Any excess power generated can be sold to the local power company in many areas.
