To have more money, obviously. Right. But what does that mean? Why is being rich so important to everyone you talk to? There is no universal answer for that. We all have our different reasons.
In order to attract those riches into your life you have to have a clear picture of the benefits of your desire. Vague thoughts like: "I want to be a Millionaire," will not be enough to set the wheels of prosperity into motion.
There are plenty of opportunities available to you on the Internet. Many of them promise you they will get you on the fast track to riches with minimum effort on your part.
There is a potential for that to occur and is usually demonstrated by testimonials from the top 10% of producers. If you could examine these stories more carefully you will often find that these 'Winners" have paid their dues. They either have an extensive business and marketing background or have failed many times before they reached their current lofty status.
Statistically, 95% of small businesses fail within the first 2 years. The same numbers apply for MLM and Network Marketing Opportunities.
So what do the successful 5% have that all others lack?
Persistence: they understand that they may have to invest 3-5 years before they can say goodbye to their boss.
Perseverance: they keep trying new things until they find what works best. When they get knocked down they get right up again.
Clarity of Vision: They know their goals to the point that they can just close their eyes to taste, smell and feel what success will be like. They have hammered out all the specific details of their desired goals to the point that it is as real to them as their day-to-day life.
Yes, it is a business, which may require you to put in many hours without pay. It means you have to work or the work will not get done. You may suffer setbacks and delay.
Only a strong and positive emotional attachment to your desired outcome of financial independence will get you past the rough points. The times when you just want to give up are the times you need that vividly constructed vision of success.
How do you do that? Here is a start:
You have to ask yourself "What would being rich do for me?"
For me I see being rich as a way to:
*Travel more
*Spend more time on my hobbies and creative interests
*Set my own working hours and working conditions
*Spend more time with my friends and family
*Eliminate debts
*Secure a generous retirement income
*Pamper my parents for all their love, support and patience
*Go First Class if I feel the need
*Contribute more to charities and help those in need
I could go on with a much longer list but I think I have made my point. These things help add substance to my desire, but there is one more step.
I try to keep my goals directly in front of me. I imagine that I am already that rich, successful person right now, today. Not sometime in the foggy future when I have all my ducks in a row.
If I had these conditions in my life right now, how would that make me feel?
*It makes me feel free.
*I am excited in knowing I can pursue all the opportunities that come my way to grow, learn and share.
*I am free to express my zest for life.
*I am free to develop a life that gives back to the world that has given me so much.
The desire for freedom is what motivates me to develop a successful business. I see the cultivation of prosperity as a way to attain that freedom. This is a very powerful knowledge for me. I am aware that having wealth will not be without it's challenges and I don't expect all my problems to disappear. Nevertheless...
