Hello my fantastic readers and welcome back for our next exciting edition of Flirting with Women Online.
According to the 80/20 rule, 20 percent of one's work makes up 80 percent of the visible outcome. Let's see how that applies to dating on the Internet, you up for it? Yes? Great - let's roll ... (and NO it's not fair to re-read the title of this post in order to obtain the answer!).
It's true, you should focus that 20% effort into your personal profile, photograph and initial e-mail. They set the mood when you "approach" women online. From this point forward, most of your success will simply come from avoiding silly mis-steps. (Don't worry, I'll address that issue in future posts).
Such is your theoretical lesson for the day. OK, now for the nuts and bolts. How can you turn a mere 20-percent effort into whopping 80-percent returns? First, you need to create a great profile, upload some attractive pictures and send a catchy email.
I'll give you more details later, but to begin with, here are the main ideas:
1. The most important thing is to let your true personality shine through in your profile. Ladies (and, in reality, everyone) interact with you according to who you really are. Scrutinizing a person's personality is comparable to the canine behavior of butt-sniffing. I know it's gross but you see what I mean. She wants to know who you are and not just what you do. Make sure that you are not just supplying her with a list of what you do and what you like. Let her see who you really are. Explain what it is that you love about your career Tell us the reasons you have fun doing the activities you love. Like a dog, you have to turn around and give her a whiff of who you really are. (of course, I am just speaking metaphorically)!
2. Make sure your profile has correct spelling and grammar. You could always have someone read it for mistakes or you could use a spelling and grammar checker on it. Refine it.Make sure that it sparkles. Perfect it. If you really wanted a job, would you submit a resume full of spelling errors? Same thing here.
3. Get some quality pictures of yourself that you can put online. It's true that you will have to spend some money for this, but it is well worth the investment. So go ahead and take the measures you need to get it done.
4. In your first email to her make sure to show her a little bit of your personality. It is a flaw to seem too flattering. If you do, you run the risk of looking like you are trying too hard. However, you do need to make sure that your email stands apart from all of the other ones she will be receiving. Write something to tantalize her and make her want to write back - a display of humor, sarcasm, or wit.
Now, that should get your mind moving. NO? Well then ... get an extension cord, slice in in half, plug it in ... I think you can see the point I'm getting at here. If this does not manage to get the creative juices flowing for you, then I am afraid I can't be of assistance to you.
Warning - It it important to NOT plug in half an extension cord. You're intelligent enough to know better than that, but this world is crazy so I feel the need to say it. You MUST NOT do it. All right, the disclaimer has officially ended.
