I had my old room redecorated last two weeks ago. From beige, I repainted it to a combination of navy blue and light blue. I had installed blinds on the windows this time to control the flow of lights. I also had a bookshelf installed on top of the bed for the hope that all the law provisions and doctrines contained in those books will finally seep in my head while I sleep.

Of course, a bedroom wouldn't be perfect without appliances. I bought a TV from the freelance writing earnings I made the previous months. I also got myself a coffee brewer since I am a morning person. I bought a nice cactus plant, which I forgot to water this week. Thank God I wrote this article to remind me of that.

There are also a lot of people I'm grateful for who contributed in making this rehabilitated room cozy. My folks were kind enough to buy me an air conditioning unit. Now, I won't be feeling like I'm in a pigsty during summer.

My friend was also thoughtful enough to bring in some adornments. She brought in a nice bookstand for my books, a coin bowl, some cute green pillows, and many more. What I most liked about the things she brought me was the flameless candles. I was not into candles but then after a week of using the candles I can feel the difference not in my room but also within me.

With the flameless candles inside the room, it made it even more beautiful with its brilliant colors. It also made the room smell even nicer during nighttime. The illusion as if it's a really a warm glowing candle never fails to impress anyone who enters my room. The candles also helped me fall asleep with ease.

I can't really explain why but more or less, the presence of the lighted candles gave me peace of mind. This gave me an idea to also buy a real scented candle and holder wherein you can be able to burn rain scented oil for maximum effect. This is for the purpose of keeping the room smelling fresh. I advise you to also get this set, it can really create a difference in your room. I put off the scented real candles and turn on the flameless candles when I'm about to go to sleep. Flameless candles are safer since it runs in electricity without giving away the illusion of a real candle. It flickers like the real thing too.

Because I really like using candles in my home these days I have also started to make my own candles. I have always been a creative sort of person but have had to give up this side to my personality due to working. My candles are not as perfect as I would like them to be but they are getting better and also making candles is a lot easier than I expected.
