Applying For A Work Permit
Jessica Thomson
Are you satisfied with your current job status and position or are you planning to take up a job in some other country? Well, most of us aren't really satisfied with our present income and so are trying hard to grab a job opportunity in the far off lands. No matter how much we earn, it always falls short for us. With the rise in income, the amount of requirements also increases.
Looking at the job opportunities in the other well developed countries, people apply for a job in the countries that are miles apart from there sweet home. But life is not that easy as we think it to be. Even if you get the job, getting the gets equally difficult to pursue your dreams. For us, we think that half the battle is won when we get successful in getting a job in a foreign country, but in reality the rest of the battle is as difficult as that of the first half. People try to go to the foreign countries for the purpose of a job on the basis of the marriage visa which also raises certain problems. While applying for a work permit in UK, one should also be knowledgeable about the tiers related to work permit. The tier 1 is a general rule and the tier 2 relates for those who have a job offer from the various companies. But, while filling these requirements, there are various minor and major things that have to be carefully taken care off. Hence to help you with this problem here are a few very important points that you should avoid while applying for a work permit in a foreign country like the United Kingdom.
1. Don't trust the foreign companies blindly. There are many possibilities that they are cheating you. Thus to be careful, you should have a proper look at the documents and the registration of the foreign company.
2. Again, don't trust the authority of the foreign company without any proof. It is very much possible that the person communicating with you is not the right authority or is a person who is not the correct person in charge to appoint you for the job.
3. Do not resign from the present job till you find a job and a visa to the foreign country.
4. Do not start applying for jobs in The UK before you get your visa.
5. Consult a well reputed and reliable consultant for your documentations.
6. While counting the points, be careful and don't try to manipulate the numbers in the points calculator system.
7. Don't ever disclose about your income tax statements or frauds while applying for a visa.
8. Don't ever refer to some one in London who has violated the rules of UK.
9. Don't ever reveal the intention of overstaying even if you wish to stay.
10. While going abroad, English is the only factor that will bind you to that country. So avoid fumbling in your English language.
