House star Jennifer Morrison plays Dr. Allison Cameron in the highly watched series, a woman who is attracted to the Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital's head diagnostician, Dr. Gregory House himself. In reality, however, she admits she has fallen in love with a co-star, with whom she is already engaged.
Last Holiday season, the 28 year old actress was officially engaged to Jesse Spencer, who plays Dr. Robert Chase in the series. The couple flew to Paris, France and during a visit to the Eiffel Tower, Spencer spoke the magical words in French and asked her to marry him.
"Veux-tu m'?pouser?" asked the 28 year old actor as he presented the box containing the ring.
Morrison's reaction was something Spencer did not totally expect.
"I was like, 'Uh, what are you doing?" said Jennifer Morrison, in account of what had occurred. "He said, 'I'm asking you to marry me in French!' I was just staring at him. I don't speak French. And he said, 'Well, are you going to answer?' And I replied, 'Oh, yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!'"
In actuality, this wedding proposal has been planned for by Spencer for six months already. The actor had a difficult time surprising her because she was "just so frickin? smart."
Spencer's first attempt at the proposal was during their trip to Costa Rica, which didn't push through because Morrison fell ill. His second attempt was during their camping in Big Sur, but the pair were "freezing the whole time," thus defying the romantic ambience.
The third time worked almost perfectly for Spencer except for the French language that he used, however, the pair are very much happy. The wedding is set to be anytime this year, but the exact date is not to be publicized. All we know is that the event will have a total of 200 guests and will be held at a private Los Angeles estate. Morrison will also have an empire-waist dark ivory Elie Saab piece for her wedding gown.
