Here's an example. A guy we know, Keith, kept striking out with women in clubs. All around him, guys seemed to know how to do it. They'd all go out together, and Keith would have to get a taxi home! Think hard about what you do well. Then, make a list of the things you really excel at. Don't ask yourself how confident you feel about them, or whether they would be good things to share with others, just list them. Don't be shy. Tell the truth. There's nothing wrong with knowing, and saying, that you are competent, or even expert, at something. When you're finished, look at each entry, and find a way for each one to play out in a social setting. Are you great at mechanics? Offer to teach several women you go to school with how to change their oil. Make an afternoon of it. Can you play tennis? Surf? Play chess? Cards? Basketball? Are you great with kids? Take a woman with you on an outing with kids. That's the kind of confidence that is incredibly attractive, and that women find hard to resist.
