Firstly, getting your nutrition in order is the key to fat loss. By throwing out all the junk food from the pantry, eating less take away and fast foods - and drinking less sugary drinks will make huge difference to your body fat count. Our bodies are never meant to take in all the fatty foods - and it's true, you are what you eat.
Below are 4 more healthy ways to lose belly fat-
1. Avoid weight loss plateaus : When you hit a plateau in your results, the natural response would be to have negative thoughts. Don't - as it is the easy path to quitting for good. Better still, avoid the scale for the week, and give yourself some healthy tasks that will benefit your health like drinking 1 smoothie a day, increase the intensity of interval training by another level or cut out liquid calories completely for the week. Look at spinning some positive attitude to your goals by planning smaller, achievable goals every day. Do this and you will give yourself a sense of achievement and momentum. Once you have that momentum, you can climb over that mountain.
2. Change you eating habits : Review your eating habits - think twice about what you are putting in your mouth.
And plan to eat more mini meals a day, and control your portions by eating from an entree sized plate only. Lastly, when you're at the supermarket, shop smart and don't bring home the bad foods.
3. Having a strategy for small indulgence is a good idea. So cheat a little if you have to on the weekend. The occasional slice of pizza or bowl of ice-cream is good for your diet. Or snack on something clearly defined in size and calorie intake, such as 2 or 3 squares of rich, dark chocolate.
4. Don't let yourself slack off - Even if you don't feel like working out, tell yourself you'll do at least 10 minutes. when those minutes are up, your endorphines will be pumping and it will be easier to continue.
