Rehabilitating Sport Injuries
Darryl Walters
For athletes, the disappointment of a career ending injury or set-back can be heart-breaking. It has been estimated that at least half of the sport injuries sustained by participants of all ages, disciplines and backgrounds could have been prevented had proper attention had been given to several key points of healthy training. Most athletes follow similar guidelines when creating a training protocol and almost all include emphasis on proper nutrition, hydration, safety, and, in the case of injury, prompt rehabilitation.
There are several therapies available that touch on one or more of these very important elements like physical therapy, sessions with a nutritionist or even massage, but now there is a single tool that can incorporate many of the benefits of these therapies into one session. That tool is the EPFX/SCIO which utilizes a powerful relationship with Quantum Biofeedback to help athletes tailor training regimens specifically to their body type and the natural stresses that can create obstacles in their pursuit of excellence in their given sport.
The EPFX/SCIO works by communicating with the body and mind, as well as the super conscious mind, of the athlete in an effort to make them aware of the stresses that are currently plaguing them or that could cause issues in the future. Through a 2 hour assessment process in the office of a Certified Biofeedback Specialist, stresses can be identified in the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and environmental lives of the athlete allowing them to tailor their training and everyday lifestyle to get the most out of their time when training. It can assess the nutritional issues that might be causing them to not absorb vitamins, minerals, or even water effectively or show were old injuries have not completely healed or may have created disturbances within the body that have resulted in other injuries or traumas. It is a very effective tool in supporting and making athletes aware of their bodies and the unseen dangers that can come along with intensive training protocols.
Now, in addition to the awareness that the athlete can gain with use of Quantum Biofeedback and the EPFX/SCIO device, there are also therapies that can be administered at the time of assessment and in future therapy sessions that can attempt to correct the issues that are going on at any given time. These therapies range from electronic acupuncture, to energetic nutritional supplementation, and pain management. Used in conjunction with other complimentary tools like chiropractic adjustments, proper diet, and meditation, most athletes will find that the therapy helps to keep them balanced physically and emotionally in the very competitive world of amateur or professional sports.
Energetic therapy and balancing are never a replacement for proper physical training, but they can help to support athletes in areas that conventional and even some alternative training techniques won't impact. Areas like oxygenation stimulation, hormonal regulation, and mind/body focus. These and others are available today and are currently being utilized by several top professional athletes in various sports around the world. They are seeing amazing results simply by integrating the energetic therapy of the EFPX/SCIO and Quantum Biofeedback into their already powerful training regimen. So, remember, the key is in reducing the natural and sometimes unnatural stress that can impact every level of athlete regardless of skill set or discipline. Balance and support can mean the difference between a season ending injury and realizing your true winning potential.
