Based in the greater Boston area and playing their home games in the town of Foxborough, Massachusetts -- the New England Patriots are a professional football team which was established in 1959 but it wasn't until 1960 when they became part of the American football league Eastern division, a venture which lasted for about nine years, from 1970 until today they had laid on dirty American football conference East division where they have been quite successful.
