In place of the buildings that were destroyed, Renaissance buildings and palaces were erected. When you cross over from Old Town to Prague Castle, you will pass through Mala Strana. Do take a few moments to enjoy the sheer beauty of the settlement.
Malostranske Namesti (Lesser Town Square)
At the heart of Mala Strana lies Malostranske Namesti. It serves as the main tram stop for the settlement. So that's like the central market of Mala Strana. Expect to find quaint houses, bars, restaurants, and small shops amidst the old buildings.
Everything about Prague city is tranquil and beautiful. The entire city is rich with heritage and history. If you ever get bored with sight seeing, you can always do some shopping in Old Town Square.
