Fire is the worst kind of disaster which one can ever face. Fire is destructive to both living and non living objects. It leaves behind ash and waste products and the things which have been fire ravaged cannot be reused again. Fire can break out in both industries and households and when it breaks out it causes extensive damage to life and property. We can take precautions to prevent fire but the after effect of a fire is dangerous and the scenes are horrifying. The after effects of fire damage are ominous. Lot of expenditure is incurred on the victim of fire damage. If the person is the owner of a factory then the extent of the damage will be more dangerous because a lot of machinery will be destroyed due to the fire.

In industrial fires the fire spreads pretty fast. The reason is because factories contain many highly inflammable substances. A small spark turns into an inferno because of the inflammable substances present inside the factory. If such a fire breaks out then the aftermath is terrifying.

The entire place has to clean up first because of the remnants of goods form the fire lie scattered all around the place. The machinery present inside the factories are the worst affected because machines cannot withstand the temperature generated from a fire. They are generally damaged beyond repair. If not they have to be repaired completely and will be a very costly affair. So nothing remains in the aftermath of a fire. Everything is destroyed. Minor fires do not cause so much damage but in case of factories the extent of damage is more.

The insurance company remains the last resort for the factory owner in the aftermath of a heavy fire. The insurance company inspects the cause and nature of the fire and then determines the amount to be given as compensation for fire damage. In some cases the insurance companies suspect sabotage and refuse to compensate the company. This is a worst case scenario though. Generally the insurance companies compensate the company in case of a fire disaster.

In case of domestic fires the chances of life loss is more. If lives have been lost in a domestic fire then it can be called a tragedy. Domestic fire damage destroys everything present inside the house; if not brought under control on time. The electrical devices are the worst affected. Clothes catch fire easily and are a major cause of major fire tragedies. Insurance companies compensate the victims if the victims fall under insurance cover. If not then the victims suffer a lot of fire damage as aftermath of the disaster.

Fire damage is destructive to both life and property and the damage are usually irreparable. Care should be taken to avoid major fire tragedies and fire damage by increasing public awareness. The public should be made aware of the causes of fire and its aftereffects. Public should go for fire insurance policies which will cover them in case of such a disaster happens. Houses and factories should be equipped with basic fire fighting equipment.
