An autistic child's brain is not able to ground to it's physical body
This disconnect from the physical body forces the brain to start running out of control and to move into what is known as "hyper-drive." In hyper-drive the brain of a child with autism begins to process at genius levels.
This genius level has been coined "intuitive genius" as a result of it being observed on a very regular bases.
This "intuitive genius" is what allowed Albert Einstein, who is known to have Autistic-like symptoms, to come up with e=mc2. His education really didn't have anything to do with it, but his intuitive genius did. Today's scientists still use his scientific findings.
The human brain, in it's conscious state, vibrates between 13 and 30 cycles per second of brain wave energy.
Dolphins vibrate between 250,000 and 2 trillion cycles per second. In between human and the dolphin brain wave energy lies this "intuitive genius" range of an Autistic child.
At this level of mental processing, dolphins and children with Autism can pierce time and space and communicate through what is known as "thought transference." They literally can read the energy coming from a person and respond within a split second.
Just like dolphins, children with Autism have their own communication skills. They both have their own language. Having this "intuitive genius", "Our" language is cumbersome and communicating at "genius levels" dummies down their ability to process at their higher level.
