In the real world, you depend upon the people to get themselves to your store. In the virtual world, you act like more of a chauffeur or shuttle bus. Your online marketing efforts literally allow you to pick your prospective customers up at designated "stops" and take them to your place of business.

Design your marketing plan to include several mediums and tools. If you master the basic marketing principles to drive traffic to your website, you will almost automatically build up the customer base and online exposure necessary to generate long-term profits for your business.
