Congress does so many nefarious things in the course of a day that some get missed. Yesterday's bill which passed the House by a margin of 324 to 84 (big enough to override a presidential veto) would make it possible for the Justice department (why the Justice department?) to seek damages from OPEC countries for oil price manipulation including limiting the supply of oil.
This legislation, if it passes the Senate, would force OPEC countries including the Saudis, the Iranians and Venezuela to follow the same antitrust laws that the ?American? corporations must heed.
The legislation also creates a Justice Department task force to aggressively investigate gasoline price gouging and energy market manipulation.
Some of the things that are unacceptable about this proposal follow
Retaliation -
The number of instances where I agree with Bush's White House are very very few and far between but we agree that this legislation is a bad idea. The White House issued a statement stating that to target the OPEC countries would only anger them to retaliate against us and do more of what they are doing that is being objected to
The administration said less oil going to refineries would limit available gasoline supplies and raise fuel prices. Duh!
Globalism ? Just how does one country sue another country without a world court of some kind? So, for one country to sue another is a step towards globalism since the United Nations or some other such organization is going to have to gain new powers not granted by our Constitution. How else could it be heard? We need to cease this continuous march towards globalism.
Wrong Target ? These criminals in Congress have no shame and they must really believe that noone is watching. They think that they can fool all of the people all of the time? Uh uh! They try to sue OPEC for manipulation and all but what about our ?American? automotive and oil corporations (which have Congress in their pockets)? For the last 13 years or so automotive manufacturers have been equipping all new cars with a computer sensor. What's it there for? It makes sure that your car doesn't get more MPG than the oil companies want your car to have! This is a fact and you can ask any mechanic worth his grease and he will confirm it for you.
The answer to the skyrocketing price of gasoline lies in grassroots activism and new technologies but don't hold your breath for new technologies to come from corporations. That is working at cross purposes to their religion of the holy profit
One such technology is Water4Gas.
is sharing information for a nominal fee which individuals can use at home to put together a small device which instills hydrogen into the fuel/air mixture that their car runs on.
The process makes bite sized particles out of the particles that the engine uses as fuel. Because of the smaller size it is able to use considerably more of the gas.
By doing this you can minimumly expect to lower your gas usage by 30-50% or significantly more. Those particles must have been pretty darn huge in some engines before. But with WATER4GAS they are made usable so you can lower your gas usage.
It also helps to lower emissions significantly.
This information has been purchased by tens of thousands car owners already and happy members number about 99%! So how about you?
