Writing emails in a hypnotic style is really like speaking to a friend. Say for example, you called a friend but only had a minute or two to talk. You'd quickly share what you wanted to tell them in a way that was (1) easy to understand while hitting on (2) the important points you wanted them to remember. The answer to translating this into email form lies in switching your email recipient from "scanning" to actually reading every word of your email message.
Here's what happens. After your email has been opened and you've immediately captured the interest of your reader with a strong "what's in it for me" opening statement (1-2 short sentences max.), you will have absolutely no problem getting them to "decide to continue" with the rest of your email message.

Understand, when they're in "scan-mode" (giving your email a top to bottom once over), you now have 2-3 seconds to convince them to literally READ every word of your message.
