When people decide to switch to raw food diets they are often overwhelmed by the new diet restrictions and the food choices they must make. There are many ways to simplify the transition to this healthy diet, however, such as raw food classes and books. The basic raw food list consists of vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, legumes, beans and sprouts. Another raw food list to remember is the list of three steps to a successful diet - eliminate certain foods completely without cheating, administer colonics to detoxify, and start drinking green vegetable juices from a juicer.
If you can follow this list then you will see raw food made easy. The two most important food groups to eliminate completely are refined sugars and processed starches, and eventually you can also cut out animal proteins and dairy once you have grown accustomed to the new diet. Many people choose to keep animal proteins such as fish in their diet, and that is okay too as long as it is in moderation and does not include red meat.
As many people learn in their raw food classes, juicing is an important part of this lifestyle. Raw food diets that include fresh fruit and vegetable juices are extremely healthy. When you use a juicer to extract the juice from the fiber and pulp of green vegetables such as spinach, lettuce, kale, parsley and dandelion, you get all the vitamins and minerals and none of the fibrous pulp. This type of juice will help eliminate toxins from your body and leave your skin shiny, glowing and beautiful.
Raw food diets that are rich in freshly juiced vegetables lower your pH from a more acidic to a more alkaline state, keep your skin looking beautiful, prevent obesity and stop illnesses from getting past your immune system. As long as you only eat foods from the raw food list without cheating, you can have the healthiest body possible.
