The use of chemistry is also in the fields of manufacturing compounds like dyes which are chemical substances used to impart color to fabrics, food, and other objects for their beautification. So it would not be wrong to say that chemistry also adds beauty and color to life. They are capable of getting fixed to the fabrics or objects permanently and are resistant to the action of water, soap, light, acid, and alkalies.

Chemistry and chemicals play an important role in cosmetic products as well. All facial creams, except vanishing creams contain some type of ingredients like oils, fats, waxes, emulsifier, water, and perfume. A cleansing cream or lotion is used for the removal of facials makeup, surface grime and oil from the face. Usually cleansing action of the cream is based on the solvent action of mineral oil on the oils and grease that bind up or grime to the skin. Cole creams are applied to lubricate the skin and to prevent roughness and chapping. Cold cream is an emulsion in which oil component predominates.

Vanishing cream is applied to give a thin film on the skin, which is not greasy or conspicuous. Bleaching creams are used to exert a lightening or bleaching effects. There is also a lot of chemistry involved in the manufacturing of advanced materials like ceramics. In general ceramics are inorganic, non-metallic, covalent network solids that can be made into paste and shaped at normal temperatures which when fried at high temperatures gain strength. During food processing a number of chemicals are added to it to increase its shelf life and also to make it more attractive. So no matter what ever field we talk about chemistry always is the foundation stone.
