There's a seven word difference between the first and second sentences although they say the same thing. Remember that a content writer generally finds it easier to spot the wasted words in someone else's copy rather than their own. The best writer/editors learn after a period of time which words and phrases are ineffectual and they generally learn to cut these out at the writing stage. A good practice is to call up a piece of web content and see how many words can be deleted without changing the meaning of the passage.
