London is the capital of England and one of the world's leading financial, organisation and cultural centres. As well as this, the metropolitan area's influence on politics, tuition, distraction, media, fashion and humanism make it a major global metropolis.London has four World heritance spots, which are the Palace of Westminster, Westminster Abbey and St. Margaret's Church, the Tower of London, outstanding Greenwich, and the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew.

London has a rich past events that goes back over 2 000 years. Meanwhile this time, the center has grown to become one of the financial and cultural capitals of the world. It has also suffered from the plague, devastating fire, civil war, and terrorist attacks.London suffered particularly throughout World War II. It suffered severe damage from bombs when, this time and 100s of thousands of children in the metropolitan area were evacuated out to the countryside to avoid the bombs. The heaviest bombing took dwelling between 7 September 1940 and 10 may 1941.

London is a distinguished stead for globetrotters, particularly because it has got so multitudinous museums and galleries. These include the Natural past events Museum, which was established in 1881. More recently, a monstrous Primark store opened on the street and it has proved very favoured with shoppers.

It goes without saying that the nightlife in London is among the ultimate in the world. There are countless clubs, live music venues, exclusive bars, cosy public houses and Michelin starred restaurants to appreciate.The Met public house in the metropolitan Hotel is one of the city's most memorable bars. The bar is so exclusive that it is members or hotel guests only after 6pm. The public house is very standard with celebrities, so you could do some splendid star spotting there.

As it is such a colossal quarter, London is very easy to get to. In fact, it is well connected by rail and fanfaronades some large railway stations, including London Bridge, London Victoria, London Euston and Liverpool Street. As well as this, the center also has three major airports, Heathrow; Stanstead and Luton.Driving in London may be tricky due to the congestion charge, but the urban place has a fabulous underground and bus network to help members of public get around.
