Recruiting is the key to having success with MLM. If you can build a solid downline with people actually interested in the program, you can make a decent income. The key is to recruit people who are actually interested and not just anyone. There are several other things you can do to have a good experience with MLM recruiting as well.

The first thing you want to do is research and find your target market. There is no point in tricking people to join your program just to build your downline. All that will happen is people will quit the program shortly and your downline will dissipate. Posting in forums and creating a blog in conjunction with your MLM program are great ways to find the right people to join.

As soon as you begin to get people signing up under you, it is up to you to make sure they have a positive experience. One of the top reasons so many people fail at MLM programs is because their sponsor bails on them. Within 48 hours of someone signing up you should set up a training session of some sort to go over their goals, give them material to use, and begin to help them set up their list. With the people underneath you having success, you will have success as well.

Aside from setting up a training session, you want to continue to be there for your recruit well after that. For at least the first month you want to constantly be calling or emailing your recruit to make sure they are getting the hang of it and are doing alright. This way if they have any questions you can answer them.

While you want to constantly be calling your recruit, make sure they know you are open to calls or emails as well. The more open you are with your downline the better chance you have of them succeeding and you maintaining a solid downline. There is no point in losing contact with those you sign up.

Lastly, try to set up a 3-way call with you and your recruit and somebody above you. The more assistance your recruit gets from those toward the top of the chain the better. And who knows, even you may learn a thing or two in the process.

Building a solid MLM downline is not the easiest thing to do, but these are some things that can make the process as smooth as possible. As long as you are a leader and open to contact, you will have success with recruiting and be able to maintain a good downline.
