If you know your new address well in advance, you might want to consider ordering address labels that are pre-printed with your new address. This way, you can save time when filling out change of address cards. It will also make it easier when you send out cards to friends and family members notifying them of your move.

Choose a Room for Packing

Before you start packing, you should choose a room in which you will store all of your packing supplies and packed items. If you prefer to leave the packed items in the room in which they belonged, you should still select one room at a time to pack. Then, focus on packing just a few boxes per day. That way, you wont be overwhelmed by trying to pack everything all at once.

Maintain a Log
