Staying Persistent With Your Marketing
Janice Jenkins
This is not always about trying to pressure someone to buy something from you. Instead you simply view a person as not ready to use your services yet, but so long as you are sure to remember them, you might be able to get a sale from them down the line.
There are certain details that go well into a strategy like this.
The first is a no pressure situation. Rather than emphasize them buying something right away, you instead do your best to figure out what it is that they need, and see how you can go about fulfilling those needs for them.
Gear all of your advertising around this idea of going out of your way to find and take care of what a person needs. When you get brochure printing done, make sure the central theme to all of those brochures is about your desire to make sure your customers are as happy as they can be.
Get postcards out to people asking them what they are looking for, and ask them to give you a chance to see if you will be able to help them out.
If a person says they do not think they need your services or products now, do not push the issue too much, but ask them if you can keep in contact with them. See if you can put them on a mailing list for different deals that might interest them more.
The more detailed the information is you can get the better positioned you'll be to contact them when you can help them out.
This works particularly well for a smaller, local business dealing with a specific clientele. You can quite literally keep an ongoing list of different people and the various things they have expressed interest in. When you have a particular sale in an area that might appeal to them give them a message and let them know.
People like to know that a company really wants to make them happy, and will not stop until they can provide them with something they will like. It makes a person feel wanted, and makes them feel appreciated. You truly care about getting their business and are willing to go to great lengths to do so.
Persistence also works well when it comes to the consistency of your advertising. Part of this is maintaining a steady stream of whatever type of advertising that you are using. If you have been getting a lot of brochure printing done never let up and create a lull in your marketing ventures.
You want to have a consistent presence in the market to help people see how stable your company is.
The company who understand the customer's needs and does everything they can to provide for a customer's needs will be able to create some very loyal customers.
