It started the 4Cs of diamond gradation that stands for Cut, Clarity, Carat weight and Color. Additional security is ensured for the certified loose diamond with a security number crafted with the help of a laser inscription on the diamond.

GIA laser inscription service is also used to inscribe on the girdle of the diamond, the GIA Inscription Registry, personalized messages, symbols, logos, anniversary dates etc. This helps in the identification of the diamond, branding of the retailer, personalizing of the loose diamond etc.
