These are questions that many women, who have just broken up with their boyfriends, have in their mind. The good news is while some relationships do have to end, there are many examples of people who managed to save their relationships even though it is in a very serious situation. Perhaps, you may even find it very hard to believe until you see it with your own eyes.

These can ranged from people involving in affairs, unhealthy habits like drugs, verbally and physically abusive relationship etc. Obviously, I am not encouraging you to get back to this kind of relationship, but just to illustrate that "miracles" do happen. Sometimes, it is just a matter of knowing exactly what to do and what not to do that make the difference.

But before you consider reconciliation with your boyfriend, it is always a good idea to give yourself a period of time to calm down and collect your thoughts. Do you think it is really worth it to pursue the relationship? Will you be much better off by moving on.

It is important to mention this because sometimes, people find it hard to let go of meaningless relationship even though it doesn't really serve them.

If after serious consideration, you think the relationship is worth salvaging, then by all means fight for your own happiness.

With that said, one good question to ask is this, why is it that some people managed to save their relationship while others failed? Is it because of something that they did or did not do?

Perhaps the most common mistake made by people is being too pushy. It is understandable that any men or women will usually feel devastated after a break up. Under this emotional state, they will usually do things that drive their partner further away. They include:

1)Contacting him too often. For example, calling him or text messaging him several times per day even though he did not bother to answer or reply you.

2)Saying things that make you appear powerless. Phrases like, "I need you", "Please come back", "I can't live without you", "Life is meaningless without you" etc.

3)Substance abuse like alcoholic drink etc.

If you have done these things, stop doing them immediately. Give yourself sometime to cool down and you will be in a better position to plan your next move.
