Actually, achieving top search engine rankings is probably easier than you might think. Your main objective should be not to try to trick the search engines, but to give them exactly what they want instead.

This way, you'll attract traffic naturally and have a good stable stream of visitors. Again, this won't happen overnight, but over time Google and the other search engines will end up loving your site and rewarding it with visitors.
