If you partner with a network marketing company that dosn't have a good selection of products and services that people need and want to purchase, then you have pretty much just wasted a few hundred dollars. If you have what people don't want or can't use then it does not matter how much you advertise your products online or in newspapers or in flyers. You will not sell them if they are not needed.



My wife and I chose our home based business as soon as we saw the presentation video. The main reason we joined is because of the assortment of products and services that are offered. Also we have a web site so customers can order online and have items shipped directly to them. We are not committed to selling door to door.

When you do find a company to team up with. Make sure that you do all of their training and get as much information as you can. Any training and upline information that you get in most cases is useful to some degree, but don't limit yourself to just their procedure in growing your business.

This is your business and you need to use tools that will benefit your business. You may need to promote your business online or in print. It is a good idea to do this anyway so that you can start your business growing in many ways from the day you commit to your home business.

My wife and I have found that we needed to promote our business online and in print. Unfortunately we didn't start promoting ours until about 6 weeks after we started our home based business. We were faithful in doing exactly what our upline told us to do.

Keep in mind that when you start your home business, you have control over what happens with it and how well it grows. You cannot have your business taken away for promoting your business in a manner that will benefit you and your family, unless you are breaking the law.

Im not trying to say that your upline wants you to fail. I am saying that in most cases they are not giving you all of the tools for success. So don't fall for the ( just pay this money and watch your business explode ) sales pitch. This is not the case and you will need to work hard to make your business successful. It shouldn't be any other way.

If you don't invest your time into it then you will not appreciate it as much. I've owned a small residential consrtuction business for 15 years and making it grow and wathing it grow has been a great experience. Unfortunately with our economy in the state that it is, I was forced to shut my construction business down.

My wife and I are now doing our home based business full time, and loving every minute of it. We looked past all the hype of the presentation video. Realiving that the products and services were exactly what we would be able to market and that people really wanted and needed what we are offering.

We do have a few people in our upline that feel we are going about running our business the wrong way. Until they are willing to share the exact tools that they claimed that they would when we signed up, we will continue to build our business the way that it is working for us.

I know that to build a real business of any kind, you should not have to stand in line at Wal-Mart or any other check out line to try to make a sale or to try to sign people into your team by these means. It is completely ridiculous to think that this is a successful method to build your business.

My downline has gone through the business presentation and realized that the products, services and pay plan are very good, and they were also told that they would be given all the tools for their success. In fact they are getting they same tools that I use to grow my business. My wife and I had to find ways to build our business, because the upline tools were never given to us as promised.

I wait for the day to come when members of my upline come to me and tell me that I am misleading my downline. Not once have i told any team member that I have signed up to go stand in line at Wal-Mart. I have been told to do this myself and when I said that was not an option, was told that I was lazy and did not want to truly make my business grow.

Keep in mind that just because you have a few members in your upline that want to keep their success tools a secret, does not mean that the company itself is bad or that you won't be able to build your business. These are just people that don't want to help you be successful. They still want you to be successful, because they get commissions from your sales. The just don't want to share their tools.

The company that you team up with is more than likely a good company. Your upline has no control over your success. If you work with your downline and help them build a successful business, you will prosper from their efforts as well. My downline will always get the tools that I use ( at no cost )because I truly want their business to grow and for them to build a very successful business.
