You should proceed with caution, however, if some time has passed and they are still not showing any signs that they want you to meet their family.

You can find out if someone is married, has been married or divorced. you can also do a background check to see if someone has ever been charged with any crimes. These can be done to ease your mind.

If they are not married, perhaps it is just a fear of commitment or something else keeping them from having you over to meet their family. Either way, at least you will know that you're not contributing to the pain of someone else.
