Women are most likely to develop incontinence during pregnancy, childbirth or after hormonal changes that occur with menopause. Women living with incontinence often find themselves scouting out the nearest restroom for fear of having an accident in public or avoiding social engagements because they feel anxiety about odor or appearance problems, even with a protective under garment.
Women who change sexual partners or begin having sexual intercourse more frequently may experience bladder or urinary tract infections more often than women in monogamous relationships. Women who perform high-impact exercise are susceptible to urinary leakage, particularly those with a low foot arch, which, on impact, increases the shock to the pelvic area.
In most instances, bladder symptoms can be controlled successfully using strategies that include appropriate medication, management techniques, and self-help. A bladder management program allows you to empty your bladder in an acceptable manner when it it is convenient for you. Only you and you doctor can decide which bladder management program works best for you. If you drink the recommended amounts of fluid and use ICP for your bladder management, you should empty your bladder at least every 3 to 4 hours during the times you are awake. The goals of bladder management are: To preserve normal urinary tract
function and prevent potentially dangerous complications.
Cancers confined to the inner lining of the bladder are called "superficial" and comprise 80% of all bladder cancers. Cancers that have spread into the bladder wall are called "deep" bladder cancers and those that have spread to lymph nodes and/or distantly to lungs, liver or other organs are referred to as "metastatic. The grade of the cancer is probably the single most important predictor of prognosis for superficial bladder cancers. While the exact causes of all bladder cancers are unknown, certain exposures are strongly linked to its development-certainly smoking has been found to be a significant
risk factor, as well as exposure to asbestos. Unfortunately, most bladder cancers are not diagnosed until they have become very large.
Invasive cancers can spread through the bladder wall into nearby organs such as the prostate gland in men, the vagina in women, the bowel, or lymph nodes. Bladder cancer is more common among men than women and more common among whites than blacks. In women, the cancer may have spread to the womb, ovaries, and other parts of the reproductive system. For example, women who have been treated with radiotherapy for uterine or ovarian cancer have a higher risk of developing bladder cancer than women who just have surgery. In men, because the bladder is located near the prostate, the doctor will insert a finger in the male's rectum to feel the bladder, while in women, the examination is performed through the vagina because the bladder is located in the womb.
However, bladder cancer is overall considered one of the more surviveable cancers, with more than half of both men and women alive five years after diagnosis.
Women Of All Ages
Nurse lingerie is one of the most popular types of erotic costume lingerie. In fact, fantasies about nurses may be the top favorite for men, according to some recent surveys. Perhaps because nurses in old movies and books were sexily portrayed, or maybe it's just because so many of us played doctor and nurse when we were children.
No matter what the reason is, there's no denying that nurse lingerie is a big hit with men and women of all ages. When you think of nurse lingerie, you may automatically think of erotic nurse style costumes in old-fashioned black and white. While this is true for some erotic nurse costumes, red is also a popular color. Nurse costumes are also often found in pink and even black.
Regardless of what color nurse lingerie is, the details help make the costume. A nurse's hat is a must-have to go with the lingerie. Stethoscopes are also important to pulling off a nurse costume. Fortunately, most stethoscopes come along with a costume, so don't feel you have to rush out and buy one.
The range for nurse's costumes and lingerie can be anything from PG-13 to Triple X. The choice is up to you.
So is the fabric the nurse lingerie is made of. Some are made of stretch fabrics such as spandex and Lycra or sheer fabrics. Don't discount leather, though, as many nurse costumes come with white leather mini-skirts and bustiers. The choice of fabrics is one of the pleasures of nurse lingerie and deciding which you like best is part of the fun.
You can find an endless variety of nurse lingerie online. It's always a good idea to do some browsing before making your final selection. After all, there's so much to choose from, you don't want to risk missing anything. One costume might be more appealing than the other or offer a better fit and comfort.
Having your partner join you in the search can make for a great evening, even before making your nurse lingerie purchase! Looking at all the erotic choices of lingerie has a way of heating things up, so you may want to keep a thermometer handy.
Whatever you do, alone or with your partner, enjoy your search. Many people are hesitant to fulfill their fantasies and feel silly just looking at erotic lingerie and costumes because they're embarrassed by their desires. Costume fantasy play in the bedroom is common, so relax and have fun while looking for nurse lingerie or other models that catch the eye.
Having your partner along for the search can go a long way in easing any embarrassment or fear of rejection, and you can both talk with each other, opening up plenty of discussion. Shopping together also ups the enjoyment level immensely. So grab your partner and start looking. You'll both be glad you did.
