Whatever they do works, and they seem to do (whatever it is) with great ease. It's almost a magical thing to watch, because it appears so easy for them when they "do" it.
Now it's easy to believe that these people are somehow exceptional in some way, or that they have some special gift or unique ability... that they were just born "special". This is not so!
If we observe our daily lives we will find ample evidence of this "flow" in operation.
For example, watch the sublime choreography of martial artists in combat. There is a flow.
Or, the grace of the South American Tamarind monkey as it effortlessly glides from tree to tree. There is flow.
And, then there is the focused power of a professional baseball player's when his bat connects with the baseball (just right) to hit a home run that wins the game. There is flow.
Or, the soaring inspiration of music that just takes us, the listener, beyond themselves. There is flow.
And here's something we can all recognize (and probably have experienced), the pure joy in a child's eyes as they slide down the slide (just for the fun of it). There is flow.
We've all seen it, and we've all experienced it sometime in life (even if it was for just a fraction of a second). When this experience of flow happens it feels sublime, and we want to experience it again and again. Why? Well, it's because it's in those moments of flow that we are most connected to the very source of life, the core. We are momentarily transported beyond ourselves into this space of no mind. We become one with life.
So, why is this "flow" not an everyday experience for all of us?
Well, in simple terms most of us do not know how to connect with life at its most profound level. We are distracted by life, instead of being with it. We have been taught to focus on the mundane, and thus we experience "mundane". We have learned to be busy, instead of being silent. We have learned to collect, rather than give. If we were a musical instrument we'd be "out of tune".
However, this is something else to consider here. The immutable laws of life have not, and do not change. So, to be in flow with life we simply have to embrace its laws... and the Law of Flow (or perhaps you may know it as the Law of Attraction) is one of life's Laws. It's all about focus, and programming your own mind to tune to the Law of Life, flow. There are even tools now, which can assist you to make this profound connection.

1. Make the decision. You need to decide consciously that you will give hypnosis a try. Having a positive attitude and open mind will also allow you to relax effectively so hypnosis can work.
2. Find a therapist you trust. Hypnosis requires a completely relaxed mental and physical state to work. You need to do some research into the credentials of the hypnotherapist in whom you are placing your trust. You can ask for references and call those clients to be sure they had a positive experience. If you are using self-hypnosis, be sure the person creating the programs is qualified to do so.
3. Continue the process on your own. Hypnotherapy sessions in an office generally run from 30-60 minutes. You can follow up on the therapy through self-hypnosis programs that compliment your objectives. These are meant to be played each night before you go to sleep.
4. Use refresher sessions. Hypnosis can work almost immediately, as in the case of quitting a smoking habit. You may find that with hypnosis you can quit ?cold turkey.? However, it is not uncommon to face temptations to light up again, even if you have gone months without a craving. If this happens, revisit your hypnotherapist or restart a self-hypnosis program at home where you replay the therapeutic CD for another week.
5. Keep an open mind. Again, hypnosis is only effective if you are a willing participant. It has the power to break bad habits, motivate you for change, and build confidence. It can even heal illness, boost the immune system and give you the power to succeed.
Hypnosis is most effective when you are frequent, consistent, and confident it can work for you. Make hypnosis a habit by using self-hypnosis programs for at least 21 consecutive nights. Through this process you will develop the skills to relax and allow the message of the hypnotic script to work at modifying behaviors and achieving goals.
