A conscious decision was seemingly made when choosing the phrase Globalwarming Awareness2007 for the contest. The expression doesn't leave much to the imagination. They are obviously trying to raise awareness for globalwarming. But was this just an effort to ?do a little good? while hosting a SEO Contest? Maybe not. Taking a deeper look around the SEO competition site might cause an outsider to think that the competition is more about "globalwarming awarness2007" than SEO.

Looking at the homepage of the globalwarming awareness2007 contest, it looks like a big time contest. Participants compete for prizes worth thousands of dollars.Off to the right on the home page is a cool little cartoon promoting the competition. Everything appears to be very professionally done. Of course that changes when you peek behind the curtain.
