It was a very decent and elegant way of carrying time with you. Although its totally obsolete now, but the charm and the classic touch it brought to the watch industry will always remain there.

Collecting watches need prior knowledge and experience. And in case of pocket watches it needs much more effort and knowledge than the other antique watches. You will be amazed to know that how much you need to know before you step into a store to buy one for yourself. To find a unique wrist watch, you have to learn and then apply the knowledge while buying an antique watch.

The serious collectors want serious and unique stuff. So some times for confirmation, they travel to places to find out its original owner to make sure it is original and also to know the history behind it. If after all this you have a wrist watch that is unique, you can proudly put it into your collection and can easily impress others.
