Clean Lyric
Paragraph Lyric
I remember when just seeing you brought a smile to my face. And we were
friends for summer, but every summer has its end. Now if I said, "I love
you," you'd just tell me that I am scared to let you hate me. If that is what
you need to believe, then lie to yourself so you can pretend that there is no
reason to grow up or that it was easy for us to let you go. But the friend I
once had was not the selfish person you turned out to be, so now if I close
my eyes to mourn the loss of a friend its only because I realize I never knew
you at all. And even though I may never feel right about what happened
between us, I'll never have to doubt that we're better of this way.
