Another day spent on the road   i'm hoping that smebody knows   the weight that has been lifted   from the life i have left behind      loud clubs people stare   all the while i'm sitting here   just dreaming about where i'll be   if i ever make it out of here      drive on and on the road gets longer as we go   lie to the crowd   tell them that you're someone else   find the way out we've got to pack our things up now   go we're moving on another city another dawn      we've only just begun   another gig and much more fun   to come as we're conflicted   with thoughts of what we left behind      packed rooms sleeping scared   wishing that i wasn't hre   but loving every minute   of the happiness that it's bringing      another day spent on the road   i'm hoping that somebody knows how much i have been missing that home that i have left behind      loud clubs people stare   all the while i'm sitting here   thinking about where i've been   am i strange to hope it never ends
