Living in a dream state   never admitting to this second face   spewing his venom with a vengeance   such hate filled words flow with ease   only needing attention of the elders   screams of rage are ignored   taken away by misunderstanding   anger lights his world     having to accept the blame   my head hangs in shame   thoughts of the past   breaks my heart like shattered glass   my only hope lies in forgiveness   but apology is my weakness   left standing with open arms   left empty with bleeding scars
