Adieu, Adieu as you peeled out of the parking lot   Another midnight wait for me      And I'll wait for everyone   Though I'd rather stay, it's fine, I'll be okay      But now adieu comes at 9:30 and I'm all sung out   And for some strange reason I've got these new friends in spades      And this town gets bigger every time I leave   Or maybe it's me, and I'm shrinking, and now I'm an even bigger hypocrite      And I'm dancing and laughing, yeah I'm feeling great.
