You see here it starts   The brand new day   And I guess something has changed   Since I walked away   Feel like a new born blinded by the light   But someone holds me close   And there is life inside of me      And I wonder   Is this real and ain´t it hurting any longer?   Did an angel kiss my eyes?   I am leaving just to recognize   To mention and to emphasize   That we´re not here to understand   But to leave our footsteps in the sand      Now the sun will shine again   Risen from the ruins of lost self-confidence   I hope the new strength won´t wither in denial   ´cause not that tears have left   But it feels alright to smile
