The stale summer breeze grips us cold, and I just sit here wishing that you'll never let me go.    If I could reach the stars I'd pull them down for you, but even those wouldn't do.   Tomorrow brings opportunities that we have not captured.    Don't let this slip away.    Tie me down and tell me when the ocean hits the sky,    because that's when my heart will turn on you and try to say goodbye.   I'll try not to shed a tear of misery today,    but my eyes sting of emptiness thinking of what I'll miss and just what to say.    So I pack up my emotions but I'll take them out someday.
