The Story of Pilates

Pilates was first designed by German physical-culturist , Joseph Hubertus Pilates, in the early part of the 20th Century. The methodology put forward by Pilates was that mental and physical health were inter-related. This methodology aims to develop controlled movement for a strong core and this is achieved by the use of various apparatuses to guide and train the body.
