Public Utility Lightings

Public utility lightings are mainly relating to risk and security of an area for preventing people from noticing criminal activity and also evacuation in case of disaster. Thus it could be regarded as security lightings. Security lightings is a preventive and corrective measure initiated by the building management in accordance with the planning of the relevant authorities.

The public utility lightings are generally used in residential, commercial, industrial, institutional and military. Generally, they are important in increasing the safety environment as well as reducing the risk of intrusion but, however it is subject to vandalism. Therefore, the optimal design should be integrated with rigid lighting fixture not only to provide adequate luminosity, but also the stand-by power supply. Some of the building managements also require the lightings to featuring with motion sensor for power saving purposes.
