Myron, got up and spoke about how he had risen from driving a trash truck in Harrisburg for $6.25/hr and went on to become a Millionaire. He did all of this despite his still having to wear a leg brace from his earlier days of having polio.
His rags to riches story was very real to me and therefore, it was easy to relate. I too, had risen from a poor background. Having grow up on a southern farm, picking cotton, raising and harvesting corn. Taking it from the corn on the stalk all the way to the "Grits Mill," where we made our own corn meal and grits. Which by the way are still two of my favorite foods.
My parents gave me the best they could afford at the time and eventually, I joined the military and successfully retired. Obtained my Real Estate license and became a successful Real Estate Investor.
I said what I said about myself, to establish the fact that I have become moderately successful in one area. But, I still felt that I had not yet achieved my greatness. I was still looking a key to true independent wealth. It was after listening to Myron, that I realized that, He had discovered the true key to becoming successfully wealthy.
I spoke to Myron at his book table and got to relate my story to him. I also told him that as far as I was concerned, He had provided me with the key I had been looking for to truly "switch on" my true success engine and more importantly to put it into gear!
I bought his book "The Ebony Treasure Map-The Roadmap To Riches For Afro-American." I went home and started to read the book. I ended up "pulling an all nighter."
The book was absolutely amazing. I could not put it down. It totally engaging. The next day I sat down and re-read it again. Only this time I had pen and paper handy and made notes as to the things that I was going to use to grow my business to the next level.
The book is so dynamic that I have started using it as the basis for my motivational talks to local youth groups that I on occasion get to speak to. I like the book because it lays out very practical steps for a person to be able to go from beibg "The Trash Man To The Cashman."
One of the most powerful principles that I encourage the young people to utilize is the one dealing with the Difference Between The Rich and The Poor." Myron says that it is actually very easy to become rich, "1) All one has to do is study the poor and DO NOT do what they do! 2)Study the Rich and do what they!" Now this probably sounds very simple to most people, But when I talk about it, my audience are amazed at the concept.
Myron explains that the Rich under stands how money works. The poor only understand how to work for money. The Rich understand how money works. The Rich know how to make money work for them. The Poor does not understand any financial principles. They do not understand the principle of leverage. The poor do not understand the principle of residual Income. They do not understand what Passive Income. They do not understand "the time value of money." They especially do not understand the principle of Compound Interest. He emphatically states that, If one understands the principle they will use them to their advantage, If not then they will be used against them!
Myron, is a true role model in the Harrisburg, Pa community. Just to verify his credibility locally. The local newspaper, "The Patriot News" did a story on him, profiling his success which was crown with a picture of him standing in front of his $1,000,000.00 dollar home. He had just recently closed on the house.
My has shown his dedication to helping others to learn how to understand and properly use money by his commitment to conducting various courses. He offers, "Six Figure Business School", and several products which teaches how to make money have your money work for you.
I consider it a privilege and pleasure to know Myron. The principles that he teaches are not mere theory, but are proven by his results and the results of his students. Myron Golden is a dynamic speaker and author.

The overall structure of my internet business check list is the business plan. It should cover the steps you want your business to grow through, factoring in cash reserves, cash outlay, marketing budget and operating capital. Fortunately, internet businesses are low overhead operations.
A good web designer, I have found is always a valuable asset to My Internet Business Pre-Launch plan. If you want a professional looking online shop or firm then you will need to invest in a reputable web design firm.
About the only thing I did right last time was learn the ins and outs of using Register.com for setting up my domain names. My designer helped me find a hosting provider who could install the software I wanted to make this all work, which helped a lot.
Internet speed is one important aspect of My Internet Business Pre-Launch plan that I think many people do not take into consideration. No one surfing the net will want to wait a long time for your page to load onto their computer. So unless you plan to only target customers with high speed internet access, remember all the glitz and flashiness will not matter much to those who do not have the time to load it.
When designing the site (or working with the designer), remember the KISS principal: Keep It Small, Stupid. No matter how shiny the graphics are, no matter how whiz bang the Flash animation is, your goal is to have something that loads almost instantly. Take the time to hit your site with a dial up modem; if it takes long enough that you wouldn't wait for it, make a low graphics main entry page and work from there.
Once I learned how to set up a maintainable web site, it was time to focus on marketing. I started marketing last time by taking out radio spots, in part because a friend of a friend got me a deal at the local radio station. Since the spots were local, I got no coverage outside of local broadcast range. Not a good idea when I'm trying to sell things on the Internet. Now, I focus on building up web traffic.
Traffic building is still something of a black art, but I'm focusing on keyword ad buy purchases - and believe it or not, advertising in the Daily Nickel newspapers. Since what I sell is household items, and tips on home organization, it's a natural mix of old style advertising and new. I also make sure that I'm in the Organizer's Circle of blog referrals, which helps a lot on getting on to social networking sites and builds relevance ratings.
