Idea 1. At work I usually took the elevator up 2 storeys to deliver paperwork, so instead I took the stairs. This allowed me to get some extra exercise while at work - my boss paid for this time I was exercising.
Idea 2. My dog thanked me all the way to the park, as I walked him every day instead of twice a week. I also took a ball to the park - my dog loved it.
Idea 3. I made sure I ate breakfast, which I usually skipped. By eating breakfast, it revs up your metabolism for the day, burning lots of calories from early in the morning, instead of not kicking in till lunchtime. This assisted me in my challenge of how lose 30 pounds fast.
Idea 4. I changed from eating my usual 2 or 3 meals per day to eating 6 smaller meals throughout the day instead. This is what I did:

In total - the amount of food I ate was still the same - just spaced out differently.
Idea 5. I only allowed myself a treat after I had eaten a healthy meal containing lots of vegetables and a lean piece of meat. The treat I allowed myself was something I felt I could not get by without, however I halved what I would normally have eaten, and kept the second half for another time.
Idea 6. Ensuring I had sufficient healthy snacks on hand in case I felt I wanted something else to eat was essential. I made sure I had plenty of nuts, fruit and dried fruit to cover any sudden hunger pangs or cravings that may arise while finding my way towards how lose 30 pounds fast.
Idea 7. Drinking lots more water was a major component that helped me. It is good for your body, and it can help to make you feel full.
