However, in the end, he falls in love with her and realizes: "The Juice is Worth the Squeeze." In other words, she was worth all the hassles and set backs. This realization is a life lesson for all of us.



The juice IS worth the squeeze. Life IS worth the squeeze...it's worth everything we can give.

Now, to make life worth the squeeze, we have to know what we want. Then, and only then, can we take action to make life worth living.

Here are 3 key steps to keep in mind when deciding what you really want:

1. Capture Your Dreams

Before deciding which direction to go in life, you must capture your dreams. Start now by making a list of what you want in life. Here are 4 types of lists to get you started.

i. Where do you want to travel? (e.g. - Hawaii, Europe, Australia)

ii. What do you want to try? (e.g. - sky diving, running a marathon, writing a book)

iii. Who do you want to help? (e.g. - your family, your church, a charity close to your heart)

iv. What do you like to do for fun? (e.g. 'practice yoga, read books, volunteer)

2. Prioritize Your Dreams

Now that you've captured your dreams, it's time to prioritize them. Go through each list and re-write them in their order of importance.

For example, in the "where do you want to travel" list, put your destinations in the order you want to travel to first. In the "what do you like to do for fun" list, put your activities in the order you enjoy most.

Next, choose your "Top 3" from each list and prioritize them in their order of importance. Combine all four lists and circle your final "Top 3".

3. Become Crystal Clear

You now have your dreams and the order you want to achieve, do, help, or complete them in.

Now, it's time to become crystal clear. For your final "Top 3" list, write out WHY you want to achieve, do, help, and complete these.

Be as specific as possible. Be as emotional as possible.

Your "why" will drive you to take action and achieve, do, help, and complete anything you want in life. But, your "why" MUST be specific and carry emotion.

Finally, attach a date to your "Top 3". You must attach a date to these if you want them to go from dream to reality...it's the only way.

Your life is ever-evolving. Start now and decide what you want, but keep these 3 key steps in mind when life makes you shift directions. They will keep you moving forward and help you create the life you truly want.

Remember, the juice is worth the squeeze.
