This way, you can be sure that the site’s members are legitimate and that the site is not a front for underground activities.

2. Chat first

Although some agree to a date just minutes after clicking the profile, it is good to also get to know the person first before agreeing to meet up with him or her. Chat for a couple of months and see if your personalities will jive. Chatting first or exchanging emails is not only a way to ensure that you will get along with each other but also help you determine if the person is genuine or just a poser.

Try to check if all the information that he or she wrote in their profiles is true. Remember that there are people who use these sites for their criminal activities. Be careful with the people that you try to meet.

3. Don’t believe everything that you see

This is especially true with women. Even if you had a great time, try to get to know the person first before leaving with him or letting him take you home.
