Breastfeeding mothers should watch their diets from the start of their pregnancy. Complex carbohydrates and whole-grain products, such as whole-wheat bread, brown rice, and oatmeal are beneficial. Take lots of fruits and vegetables as they provide vitamins A and C and minerals such as iron and magnesium.

4. Generally during the first few months of breastfeeding, pregnancy doesn't occur. If it does, you may continue breastfeeding without any problem. The quantity of breast milk secreted during pregnancy may decline but the quality may not be affected. However, if you continue breastfeeding, the quality of colostrums in the milk for the next baby will be affected. So it is advised, the breastfeeding should be reduced gradually and stopped.
