CRM, or customer relationship management, software is one of the most trusted sources for companies. Among the leading software programs for CRM is Prophet. Prophet does have its fair share of competition, though, one being ACT CRM software. ACT CRM software, although functional, does not have the accessibility and functional level that Prophet has to offer.

Not all features are accessible with ACT CRM software as it is with Prophet.

ACT CRM software is has been known to operate as a customer relationship management program. However, with ACT CRM software, there are many features that are not permissible, or are not even offered with the ACT CRM software program. This case does not hold true for Prophet. Unlike ACT CRM software, Prophet is leading the sales of CRM software because it has all of the materials that is needed to run a highly operational sales program.

ACT CRM software is not entirely operational through Outlook like Prophet is.

ACT CRM software is not fully operational through Outlook. Outlook, a program that is in many computers already, is what generates the programs for both ACT CRM software and Prophet. With ACT CRM software, though, there are limitations to the programs that can be run off of Outlook. Prophet, unlike the ACT CRM software, on the other hand, is fully functional through Outlook. ACT CRM software will call for additional software, and for reports to be generated outside of Outlook. In comparison to ACT CRM software, Prophet, has no need to work other programs outside of Outlook. Outlook is capable of working all of the functions through its system for Prophet, and does not need additional software. Many companies find this bothersome with ACT CRM software, as they do not wish to purchase additional software just to send a report. This is why Prophet has proven to be a top seller time and time again against the ACT CRM software competitor.

A comparison of ACT CRM software and Prophet.

When a company worker uses Prophet for the first time, they will see how much time and information can be saved with the program. This does not hold true for ACT CRM software. With ACT CRM software, functions can not be managed easily. This is especially true for such features as a client's account information. A client's account information on ACT CRM software is just as equally important as information that is stored in Prophet. With ACT CRM software, however, information on an account can not be saved directly in the Outlook section of a program. The information that is saved for a client with the ACT CRM software must then be transferred to Outlook through another source. Such actions in the ACT CRM software may result in many employers becoming frustrated, as they are having to do twice the work for one item. Compared to the ACT CRM software, Prophet's software eliminates this problem, and, in turn, frees up time for companies to look for future sales with potential clients. Having additional sales for income is ultimately what every company is looking for. Although this is not feasible with ACT CRM software, it is with Prophet.

ACT CRM software does not offer a lot of stability.

The stability that is offered with Prophet, unlike the ACT CRM software, is what attrACTs many buyers of the product. It is known that ACT CRM software does not offer such stability. Not only is ACT CRM software never running at full speed, the ACT CRM software often looses information in a downloading process. For instance, should a entity access files with ACT CRM software, and try to download it, there will often be files lost in the transition. This is due largely in part because ACT CRM software is not capable of handling large downloads. Also, with ACT CRM software, the downloading of files has to go from one area of the computer to Outlook, as the ACT CRM software through Outlook can not host all of the files needed for downloading with the ACT CRM software. Prophet is quite the contrary. With Prophet, records can be downloaded, and even shared all through Outlook. Unlike ACT CRM software, there is not a need to leave the program, and download information, as what ACT CRM software calls for. Such a smooth transition of process is what makes Prophet highly profitable, and ACT CRM software not so.

Additional software is needed for the ACT CRM software, whereas Prophet is the only CRM software needed.

When a company purchases CRM software for their clients, they want to have only one program that can handle all of the necessary tasks. This situation is possible with Prophet. This situation is not possible, however, with ACT 2005 software. Many businesses are finding that they need to purchase additional software just to operate the ACT CRM software. This is not only time consuming, but is also costly to a company. A company is looking to make the most money as possible, but with the least amount of money used to do so. ACT CRM software is not the program for such a task. Although somewhat reasonable, ACT CRM software calls for additional software for everything to work as a whole. This is quite costly to a company, and can lead to profits lost in the long run. Loosing profits is not in any company's figures, which makes Prophet a better candidate for CRM software than the ACT CRM software.

Many companies can not benefit from ACT CRM software, as it is too complicated.

Companies big and small can benefit from Prophet's software. Prophet is not only the best selling CRM software on the market, but it surpasses in positive reviews against the ACT CRM software. Clients new and old are raving about Prophet, and the time that is saved in comparison with the ACT CRM software. ACT CRM software is substandard when it comes to CRM software. Although many of the ACT CRM software is current, it is still behind in the times with Prophet. Effectiveness is what important overall is, and ACT CRM software does not live up to such standards.

It has been proven that Prophet's CRM material is the information to beat. ACT CRM software is only helpful where there is not a lot of sales, and there is ample time on a client's hands for additional work. It will take a long time, if ever, for ACT CRM software to be anywhere near Prophet's sales. Prophet has been, and continues to be, the top seller of CRM software.
