The median hourly pay for pipe layers in the United States was 13.68 in 2004 when the wages were studies, and now the wages have increased from that. The lowest ten percent of plumbers, those plumbers starting out with their on-the-job training used to be paid only 9.19 each hour on an average and the highest ten percent of the plumbers used to be paid over 25.07.



You have to remember that these figures are for those plumbers who were either in the middle of their training or had completed their plumber training and were working for other plumbing companies or companies which are related to plumbing. Vocational plumbing courses are quite similar to training for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) in the way that both are trades requiring skill, deftness and coordination with hands.
