One thing that I've been guilty of over the years – and a trap I've seen almost every affiliate marketer I know fall into as well – is devoting time, energy and money to improving technically, but not strategically.

Because if they are any kind of marketer at all, they'll have a LIST of some kind for visitors to join. And then they get to promote to that subscriber over and over again. And not just their products, but they can promote other people's products as well. 1)Setup a list at your site. It can be anything you want, just make sure it's high-quality information and highly related to your offer.

2)Promote your list INSTEAD of your affiliate link.

4)Follow-up for long-term conversion.

P – Presell the offer.

Pre-selling is the art of getting a prospect “sold” and ready to buy a product before you've presented him with an official offer. You Simply PROVIDE them with believable, understandable,useful information that leads her to make the decision to spend money.

C – Create an incentives.

Offer some valuable item or exclusive bonuses for free as an added incentives to everyone who orders the recommended product through YOUR affiliate link. An offer which people find compelling and attractive. The idea is to make buying a “can't lose”, win-win situation.
